The following is the description of what my topic was about and the links discussed. I have tried to upload the presentation to SlideShare but with no luck at the moment.
With the advent of Internet and the subsequent development of simple content creation tools (i.e. Web 2.0) there are a number of important areas about going online that all educators and students should be aware of. Using filters and restricting access is simply not the answer, education and communication with our students is vital. This session will look at some of the areas that we as teachers need to discuss, share and become aware of when dealing with online technologies. Going online is simple, participating online takes effort and responsibility.
The following represent the main links discussed in my session.
